Thursday Morning Prayer for Family and Friends

Thursday Morning Prayer for Family and Friends

The best way to start any Thursday morning is with a prayer for family, friends, co-workers or even enemies. Sometimes it helps to just talk things through with someone who is listening. So email this prayer request to your closest friends and family. Let them know that you wish for God’s blessings to be placed upon their lives and you want them to be happy.

Thursday Morning Prayer for Family and Friends

  1. Lord, bless our friends and family. Surround them with your love, protection, guidance and peace. Bless those who are traveling this morning, those who are working to support their families each day. Help them to be safe and healthy. Bless our extended family and friends who are perhaps in other parts of the world or far away. Help them to know Your love and comfort. Thank you for the journey each traveler is on, may Your will be done not ours Lord. Help us today as we try to do Your will here on earth as it is in heaven. We pray these things in Jesus’ name amen.”
  2. Dear Lord, thank you for this wonderful day. I pray all is well with you and your loved ones. Please guide and protect my family and friends this Thursday. Be ever present in their lives, Lord. In your name, I pray, amen.
  3. I have a list that I pray over Thursdays. It’s the biggest list I have. It’s my prayer list, and on this list are family members, friends, and acquaintances. To be honest, it’s not just a prayer list; it is also a thought and praise list.
  4. Dear Lord, we come to you this Thursday morning to ask you to once again look over our family and friends.
  5. Good morning, beloved family and friends! Let us pause this Thursday morning to thank God for the love and richness in our lives.
  6. Lord, please watch over our families, friends and loved ones. Keep them safe and healthy this Thursday. Encourage them in their daily lives and help them set goals that you know will lead them to follow you instead of leading them away from you.
  7. Dear God, please bring peace to all families and friends as we work through the week. Give us patience and joy as we face our burdens and celebrate our blessings. Wash away fear with your Holy Spirit and help us to spread love throughout the world. In Jesus’ name, amen.
  8. Just using this opportunity to remind you that nothing can ever separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ. We are never alone, never lost and always have hope because He is totally in control.
  9. Thank you, God, for all the family and friends that I have in my life. Thank you for allowing me to share their lives and be part of something bigger than myself.
  10. In prayer for the people we love we pray for a lovely Thursday and for strength to enjoy it. May our thoughts as well as our words be pleasing to you, always.
  11. Lord, we pray for our family and friends. We thank you for the love that you’ve given us towards them. Help us to extend our love to them in Your name. Fill us with your Spirit, so that our prayer may be effective. We pray this through Christ our Lord…
  12. Lord God, you are my God. I pray for those who are close to my heart. They are my family and friends.
  13. A prayer to bless friends, family, and acquaintances on a Thursday morning: St. Christopher, patron saint of travelers, protect us from accidents as we go about our daily tasks as we travel along the highways, byways, streets, or skyways of life. Please help us avoid any kind of mishap and send harm away from us in all its forms the harm brought about by human error or neglect along the miles that stretch before us.
  14. I pray for you. And you. And especially our family and friends. In this world, there is much to be concerned about that sometimes makes us feel overwhelmed or anxious. I think the “last day” in 2 Peter 3:10-15 helps put things into perspective, and can offer comfort if we spend a few minutes thinking about it.
  15. In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, watch over our families and friends. Amen.
  16. I pray for each of my friends and family members every Thursday morning. I want them to know that I care about them, and that I notice their accomplishments and am proud of their choices. I want to tell them how much I value them, how wonderful they are and that I hope their days are blessed.
  17. Lord, accept out of love the prayers we offer for our friends and family:
  18. The Lord gives us wisdom, courage, and hope. Set us free from fear and save our friends and family. Guide us through this journey of life and protect us on our travels. Let your presence be felt in all that we do, all that we see, and all that we touch. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
  19. We stand before God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We commit the well being of our families and friends. Amen.
  20. Oh Lord, thank you that it is Thursday morning; thank you that once again we are present in our bodies. Thank you for all of the times we have seen each other and not seen each other; for all of the times we have been together and all of the times we have been apart. Please give us grace to delight in each other now, to be glad for this time. Thank you for bringing each of our family into one body, please bring us together even more fully. Thank you for our family — the ones with us here now and those who are far away. Amen
  21. Dear Lord, thank you for friends and family. We are grateful for these people we love, who help us see more clearly on Thursday morning.
  22. This morning I woke up at 4:30 am with a new work project in mind. But first, I planned on praying for my family and friends. As my husband and I knelt down I couldn’t help but wonder, where do you start? Praying for so many can be daunting especially if you’re praying for the safety of loved ones. Unsure what to pray about first, I grabbed this list and immediately knocked out some prayers (I told God if he didn’t answer them all it was fine).
  23. O Lord, grant us, our families and friends mercy. For all we have done, forgive us. And help us, so that we might not be lost in the turmoils of daily living. Give strength and grace to those who suffer from affliction and infirmity. May every blessing rest upon them.
  24. We pray for all of the families in the world and our friends who struggle with anything to have a beautiful Thursday Morning. Let us pray.
  25. Oh Lord, take care of our families and loved ones – especially those who are sick or dealing with some type of trouble or difficulty.
  26. Thank you, Lord, for all you have given me. I pray that my success and spirituality will bring joy to my family and friends.
  27. Lord, have mercy. Christ has mercy. Lord have mercy. Christ has mercy. Lord have mercy on us, our family and friends.
  28. Dear God, Help us out from this problem of being tired on Thursdays (and Fridays and Mondays and Tuesdays). Help us with our problems big or small, just help us get unstuck, help us be better people who can do better things: like helping other people or maybe just giving someone a lift home from the office at the end of the day. Amen.”
  29. Lifting up all family and friends in prayer this morning. May the good Lord watch over each of you through the week.
  30. Our heavenly father, we come to you today in prayer for our loved ones. Our brother and sister are having a really rough time at work. They have been given so many projects to do and their workload is more than they can handle. We pray that you will intervene on their behalf and let their managers know that they cannot handle all these responsibilities. Give them the strength to deal with these things and restore their confidence when they feel like everything is out of control. We ask this in the spirit of Jesus Christ, amen.
  31. Lord, we pray for our friends, and family. We pray that you would help them to realize your presence and love; that they will come to know you as the creator of all things and that through your mercies all their sorrows will pass away. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
  32. Let us bless the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength for his mercies are new this Thursday morning. Watch over our family and friends.
  33. Heavenly Father, we come to your throne of grace and mercy this Thursday morning, February 17th. We thank you for your Word and for another day to live as a Christian. We’re not perfect son, but you are and with your precious blood, which is shed for each of us, you have made it possible for us to stand before you today. No matter where we are or what we may be going through, guide us, our family and friends in your ways and grant us to walk worthy of the calling in which you have placed upon us, in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
  34. Dear Lord, thank you for your guidance and protection. Thank you to all the people in my life. Help me to remember that I can make a difference in their lives, even when they don’t acknowledge it. Give me, my family and friends the strength to keep going when life gets hard, and help me be content when others do not appreciate our efforts. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
  35. As we all come together as a family to get it all done before Friday. We put our faith in Jesus and hope every day is a great one. We give our thanks to God for all the good things in life, from the sunset over the lake, to the smell of fresh bread from the oven. Our prayer for our families and friends goes up to Heaven each morning when we pray for them along with you.
  36. I pray that we all (me, my family and my friends) will have an opportunity to serve and minister to the needs of others this week, including those in our family and those whom God may put on our hearts.
  37. Lord, we come to you as a church family throughout this hour to pray for one another and all of those on our hearts and minds. We lift them up to you as we plead your promises concerning their names, that they would be kept safe and secure through the day. In the powerful name of Jesus, who is Lord over every situation, we lay hands upon one another.
  38. I just finished my prayers for the morning and wanted to share them with you. I pray blessings over you and your family, as well as your friends. I hope they come true in your life. This prayer is meant to be a daily prayer but you can recite it any number of times you choose. You can even teach it to your children or others dealing with hardships.
  39. Oh Lord, I praise thee for all the things that I have done that I should be ashamed of. Oh Lord, I praise thee for all of my family and friends that have let me down. Oh God, please protect my family and friends’ loved ones from all the evil things in life. May God help to guide them and protect them always.
